A community in crisis began a journey to respond to trauma in a different way. First ReCAST grant submission

The ReCAST grant was awarded to the Mecklenburg County Department of Public Health in September 2018 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
ReCAST focus groups, interviews, surveys, community support letters and community meetings helped to establish a collective vision

Resources for Resilience™ trainings provide personal resilience tools to promote a culture of wellness and equity in workplaces and communities

National Council for Behavioral Health facilitated two-day summits focused on trauma-informed approaches to 300 participants

The Resiliency Educator Apprenticeship Program (REAP) provided train-the-trainer tools for community providers
