WHAT TRAININGS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE ReCAST TOOLBOX? HOW DO I SIGN UP?
ReCAST Toolbox is a variety of resilience and trauma-informed trainings that provide tools and strategies for youth and families to address a range of topics including trauma, toxic stress, and self-care.
4-Hour Virtual Workshop
Resilience Tools Today is an interactive virtual workshop facilitated by Resources for Resilience™. This workshop focuses on resilience tools and resources that participants may utilize to address trauma, toxic stress, and anxiety that leads to dysregulation in everyday life.

Two Day Training – In Person or Virtual
Reconnect for Resilience™ offers participants a set of practical strategies to promote wellbeing in the face of ongoing stress or adversity. In this class, participants learn about the neuroscience of stress and trauma and are given an “owner’s manual to the body’s threat and safety management system.” – Resources for Resilience™
Train-the-Trainer Pilot
The Resiliency Educator Apprenticeship Program (REAP) develops community trainers committed to educating about the impact of trauma and teaching others skills that foster resilience. This activity includes a 4-day training and year-long apprenticeship.
Trauma-Informed Webinar Series
The Trauma-Informed Webinar Series includes virtual trainings and conversations which have adapted in response to evolving community needs. Past webinars are archived and available as online, self-paced trainings. Click the link to read more about each webinar and access the recordings.
Compassion Fatigue Seminars
Compassion Fatigue Seminars explore stress, burnout, and self-care; how to build resilience; and provide strategies on how to support an organizational culture of wellness and trauma-informed care to better serve youth and families.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Participants who complete the training will receive certification.
Trauma-Informed Learning Community
The Trauma-Informed Learning Community provides community organizations an opportunity to join a growing coalition of advocates for trauma-informed leadership. This year-long commitment includes personalized mentorship, leadership tools, and resources to support organizational change.
Trauma Summit
The multi-day Trauma Summit introduces specific trauma-informed approaches for faith-based, justice, healthcare, education, government, and non-profit organizations, especially youth-serving organizations including adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and the neuroscience of stress and trauma.
